tESTIMONIALS
Mick
“Grrrroomie is the only place I trust with my anxious rescue pup. They took time to let her sniff around, play, and relax before starting. She came home soft, shiny, and actually happy after grooming. You can really feel how much they care about each animal.”
Jane
“My senior cat usually hates being handled, but at Grrrroomie she melted into the groomer’s hands. They were so calm and gentle, and they worked at her pace. Her coat is glossy, her nails are neat, and she came home purring instead of hiding. It feels more like a spa day than a vet visit.”
Liam
“We’ve tried a few groomers in Dublin, but none have felt as calm and caring as Grrrroomie. Our two dogs walk in wagging their tails and come out looking and smelling amazing. The team remembers their quirks, uses lovely organic products, and never rushes them. It feels like leaving them with friends, not a service.”
Emma
“I was nervous about my puppy’s first groom, but Grrrroomie made it such a positive experience. They let him explore the space, gave him lots of breaks and cuddles, and explained every step to me. Now he actually gets excited when we arrive. It’s such a relief knowing his early grooming memories are gentle and kind.”
Puppy Grooming FAQs
When should my puppy have their first grooming session?
The best time for a first 'Puppy Intro' is usually around 12-16 weeks old, once they've had their second set of vaccinations. Starting early helps them get used to the sounds and smells of the salon in a stress-free way.
How long does a puppy grooming visit take?
We take it slow for puppies! A typical first visit lasts between 60 to 90 minutes. This allows plenty of time for sniff breaks, play, and reassurance so your pup never feels rushed or overwhelmed.
Is the grooming environment safe for my young pup?
Absolutely. We maintain clinical-grade hygiene standards in our Dublin salon. Puppies are handled with extra care by experienced groomers who specialize in positive reinforcement and gentle touch.
What vaccines are required before the visit?
For the safety of all our furry clients, puppies must have completed their initial vaccination course (usually two sets). We also highly recommend Kennel Cough vaccination for Dublin pups who socialize often.
What should I bring for my puppy's first groom?
Just a collar and lead! If your pup has a favorite small toy or specific training treats they love, feel free to bring them along to help make the experience even more rewarding.
